Privacy Policy
Effective October 13, 2026. This page explains, in plain English, what information tru-mac.com collects, why, and who it is shared with.
Who we are
This website is run by TRU MAC VENTURES LLC (“Tru Mac,” “we,” “us”). Questions about this policy can be sent to info@tru-mac.com.
Information you give us
Waitlist form. When you join the waitlist we collect your first and last name, email address, company (optional), the area you are interested in, and whether you agreed to receive updates. Along with the form, your browser sends the time of submission, your browser type (user agent), the page you came from (referrer), and the page address.
Contact terminal chat. When you type messages into the chat on our Contact page, the text of your conversation is sent to our server and passed to xAI (the provider of the Grok AI model) to generate a reply. Please don’t enter sensitive personal information in the chat.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the home page, your browser sends a basic visit record: the time, the referring page, your browser type, your screen size, your browser language, and your time zone. We use this to understand how many people visit and how they find us. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers.
Like most websites, our hosting provider (Vercel) may process technical information such as your IP address in its server logs to deliver and secure the site.
Information stored on your device
The site uses your browser’s local storage to remember a copy of a waitlist sign-up made from that browser, a sign-up counter, and, if our server can’t be reached, visit records waiting to be sent. This information stays in your browser; you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
How we use information
- To contact you about our launch and related consulting updates, if you joined the waitlist.
- To answer questions you ask through the contact chat.
- To understand site traffic and keep the site working.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
- Vercel, which hosts the website and processes requests to it.
- xAI, which receives chat messages to generate replies.
- Data storage and workflow services we may use to store waitlist and visit records (for example, a database provider or an automation service).
When you look up a country on our globe or view the news ticker, our server fetches public information (such as country facts, news headlines, and market data) from public sources. Those requests are made by our server, not your browser, and do not include your personal information.
Our pages also load fonts from Google Fonts and code libraries from the jsDelivr content network, so those providers receive standard web request information (such as your IP address) when your browser downloads those files.
We may also disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist information until you ask us to remove it or we no longer need it for the purposes above.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from updates at any time, or ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you gave us, by emailing info@tru-mac.com.
Children
This site is meant for businesses and professionals and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
